EDIT: Now with tones! I tried to do some effect tones, and really tried to get a feel for what I was doing here... I like the way it's come out personally, and feel it looks soooo much better than the untoned version. Lets see what you guys have to say, though ^_^

A little mini project for the gomanga.com forums:)

Grab a base plot, and make a personal interpetation of it! Here's what it was:

The Event:

An after-school meeting between a shy girl and the guy she admires.

Characters:

1) Shy Girl (Any school age, take your pick!)
2) Handsome Guy (Similiar age to Girl, they go to the same school)
3) Nosey Teacher (Optional: He/She could come in and break up this little meeting, for an easy ending)

Plot Frame:

--The boy shows up with a note he recieved in his locker. Across the way, he sees a single girl standing in the evening light. She walks over to him slowly, and begins to confess her feelings for him. Just then, when she finally has the courage to speak the words, a teacher is heard, screaming "What are you two doing here so late? It's time to go home!", or something to that effect. The pair split ways, both now uneasy about what just transpired.

it's good that it's not all shoujo-like story etc, and that there's some downright humor^^

LoL, yes, ripping her shirt off, THAT woulda really changed the mood of it all ;-)

Humor is an SAB staple:) Though I wanna be kinda careful at how much I used it here... didn't wanna seem like ALL I could do was goofy humor :XD:

no no, goofy humor is great! it's shoujo that's not my favourite genre in comics ^^'

though I've recently come up with a shoujo storyline, I believe...

(And thus, now Page 2 Is covered with fun tone-age! Yay!)

Shoujo-style bodies are normally the part that gets me off the bat (Legs that go on for miles, and overskinny, girly looking men... Not my fav. thing, and I can stomach it, but it won't get me to pic up a series, obviously), though I could enjoy a Shoujo style story if it was GIVEN to me, lol. I just probably wouldn't buy one off the bat. The stories don't bother me most of the tyme, just the style :XD:

So, I think I could probably enjoy your shoujo style story ^_^

hee, toneage still brings more clarity^^

I'm going to develop that storyline and keep it to myself until I've finished the other mangas, I think. Otherwise I'd lose interest in the other manga's I'm doing right now.

But I'll be sure to notify you IF I ever bring it out into the open ;)
