Description

Another Practice mini-manga for the Gomanga.com forums! Find the Plot frame with Page 1 comments!

----------

The Set-up backstory, for kicks:

(Girl) Is the youngest in a family of fighters. To put this in fighting game terms, Her parents are the last bosses, her older brother (who appears smaller than her) is a sub boss, and she's... a low level entry fighter. She's been such since she was young and little, and is traped displaying this cute-and-bubbly persona. She wishes to be more, though. She's been training, but is not allowed to show any abilities outside her public persona.

The story begins after she tries to get her parents to notice that she's growing up, and needs to have a chance to move on! They refuse to listen to her, cutting her off before she can even make a plea. She runs outside, frustrated, to the little cliff by the lake...

Things I think I improved on since "Chemistry" my other mini-manga work (also in my gallery):

-I gave it smaller lines! Oy caramba. I'm not working at 2x size, but these still came out pretty nice. (Probably too small in some cases)
-Did more BG work!
-Attempted more perspective shots.
-Used more absolute black.
-Lines have a bit more character overall!

I know I'm no expert on this sort of thing. Yet I'm noticing that you're using a lot of small pics overlayed on big pics. It's good for a dramatic effect or to call attention to things. It just seems to get annoying when used on *every* *single* page is all. This is, what, the third time you've used a one eye reaction panel?
You've done a nice job with chars and action stuff so far. It just seems that some of your panels need a bit more attention given to layout flow and variety.
